| Having been to the forum last night and having a chat with Simon Foster it was good to see some pictures of the great man hanging on the wall of the new bar.
Apparently there will be more to go up. Simon was saying they'd like to get the whole Coral Stand covered in pictures and memorabilia. Stuart Duffy was telling me they intend to get some comfier seating in there too to make it more attractive to customers. John Downes said they would also stage some of the heritage video nights there with games from the past while also continuing to stage some at the Top House.
Can we think of other things that would pull in the punters to the new bar?
I would try and get a decent guest beer on draught. Smaller breweries in the Bradford and district area like Salamander, Old Spot, Haworth Steam, Gooseye, Naylors etc would I'm sure like to get there beer on sale at Odsal. Real Ale has never been more popular.
Apparently a cafe serving Omar's specialities is going to figure somewhere. It's obvious that decent curries would sell like hot cakes on gameday but something available during the week in the bar would be great. Simon mentioned Bulls Bhajis, hows about Kearney's Kebabs or Trevor's Tikka?
Regular showing of Sky games is a no brainer but NRL too would be good.
Some sort of jukebox to provide atmos when there's no game on would be needed. Could stock it full of Robbie & Henry singing run with the bulls! (How about a re-mix by some of the current players? Shame we lost Tom and George)

Can't see the Orient fans being too keen on volunteering to run the Bulls bar TBH.

| How about hosting an Odsal beer and curry festival in the coral stand, with a vote for house beer from the guests on the day.

Obviously not, employment-related aside, OKB only has whatever contracts it chooses to enter into itself. However I'm sure that whoever had the deal to supply beer for the old company won't have been slow in making a pitch to the new company - along, I'm equally sure, with reps of their main competitors, who would be very keen for the business.

13554.jpg The phrase politically correct is in itself politcally incorrect so should be rephrased politically stupid!
If you like old type radio comedy/ dramas etc listen to //pumpkinfm.com/

| The problem with the Breweries is that they offer ready cash and heavily discounted ales for long term contracts, the downside is usually, the better the contract the crapper the product! So someone needs to make sure OK's "Savvy Managers" think quality first easy profit second!
