My reference was to the work and effort he put in, and the loyalty he showed to "the club". As a paid employee, I would have expected him to have done what his employer told him to do on the PR etc front. He used to spin like a top for Caisley (including to me) and then for Hood (including to me). Some things he told me were without doubt disingenuous, but that was part of his job and I therefore would not hold it against him. I suggest your issue should be with his respective employers?
You seem to be alluding to further, unspecified issues and concerns? If so, then surely you are doing precisely what you said I was doing a while ago, namely casting aspertions implying there was more that could be told but not being prepared to - or able to - say precisely what?
But regardless, one would hope and expect lessons have been learned all round - not least by you and me and others who frequent these forums?
