Quote: REDWHITEANDBLUE "Reminds me of the time when Wakefield got into SL we had to play 2 seasons without SL money I believe the RFL made a contribution but we were still behind everyone else with amount of Sl cash handed out.
Dont know what the rationale is unless the money has been drwan down by the previous regime under administration for the running costs, how many months did they pay the wages was it 3 at 200k amonth allegedly?'"
No.
The administrator sacked most of the non-playing staff, so the ongoing payroll will have been maybe around (I guess) say £160k/month.
the administrator was responsible for paying the July and August payrolls ONLY. He seemingly said he would put the club into liquidation at midnight on 31 August as he was not prepared to or in a position to take on liability for the September payroll (very strange reasoning to me, but there you go).
The Sky normal monies are I gather around £110k/m?
I believe that matchday and other income covered other costs, from what we were told?
The RFL rent was supposed to be only around £6k/month?
The Statement of Affairs at the date of appointment showed no (significant) amount owing to the RFL, be it for rent or Sky monies advanced or anything. And Coulby and Agar (and Duckett) are legally responsible for and liable under that statement, and Coulby stated publically before then specific details of individual creditors etc, including the RFL, so we must assume the Statement of Affairs is both complete and accurate?
So, on that basis, it must surely be a load of total bollox that these reductions for 2012/12 and 2013/14 have anything to do with "advances of Sky monies" or anything else to do with the RFL?
