| The most entertaining facet of this thread is "hyperbolicrhino" condescendingly correcting spelling. Your grammar is atrocious and you must love the comma. Please rectify your own mistakes i.e *especially. In addition to this the word 'hate' is predominantly interpreted as a platitude and doesn't necessarily signify animosity.

I thought he signalled a forward pass?

Pretty sure he did. I didn't see it to be honest, but behind the sticks isn't the best position to judge.

| I was behind the sticks at the other end, it seemed pretty clear from watching the replay on the screen that Burrow passed the ball forward, it hit our player rolled on and JJB picked it up, nothing slightly controversial about it at all.

The Leeds fans know Burrow passed it forward but they see it that often they get confused when it's punished.

| Im fairly sure it didn't hit a Bradford player, it was just a bad pass that drifted forward and was rightly given as so.
As for the crowd, 18.5k seemed about right to me. The capacity is 21k. I'm sure 2,500 more people could have got in the South Stand, the Carnegie Terrace and the few empty seats plus a few on the Western Terrace.

| Regarding last nights game.......
I actually came away from the ground happy in the knowledge that i had witnessed probably the best Rhinos v Bulls game for god knows how long
The Bulls deserve a great deal of credit for not only last nights performance but also for how they have improved this season under Potter and most notably how the players have continued to give their all throughout all the doom and gloom <although in the back of their minds they are undoubtedly playing each week in a shop window for any future suitors >
IMO Luke Gale was the best player on the pitch last night, i also thought that Platt looked pretty hard to handle too
On the downside, I would not have Pryce anywhere near a RL pitch as he clearly has a heart like a pea. He has a body like Greg Inglis but sadly has nothing to back this up in SL, I'd guess that he will end up breaking records where he belongs in the lower leagues

Think most Bulls fans would agree with you, however is strike rate is fairly good. It would be frightening how many tries he would get if he ran with the determination of Lesley.

| I thought it was a good game, especially the first half which had everything you want in a game of rugby; good attacking moves, solid defence, some big hits and general 'take no prisoners' defending and a scoreline which was as tight as a drum. I thought the game fell away a bit in the second period, entirely because one side (us) made too many (largely) unforced errors which Leeds very clinically punished and finished deserved winners. Though, I confess the tackling was pretty torrid at times in the second half, just ask JP after that hit from Elima put him on his backside!
I was amazed when, as I was driving home, someone on Radio Leeds said the first half was "poor" and the second was "great". For an out an out Rhino fan, with no interest in watching a good game I'd accept that might be true, but not for a neutral. As a fan I'll take any tries, however they come about, but well worked moves will always be better for me than picking up a loose ball and falling over the line.
On the topic of Leeds' fans and what they think, I passed a group of young lads when walking back to the car and as I passed the conversation changed ( I assumed for my benefit) from how brilliant the Rhinos had been to how it was funny (ha ha) that the Bulls were in trouble. They all had a good laugh (though there never any possibility I would rise to the bait), but it changed when one of the kids said he thought it would be 'good if the Bulls disappeared from rugby league' - his mate who had been laughing at the Bulls' position only seconds previously said, "No, I don't want them to go. If they do, we wouldn't get great derbies like we'd just seen". the kid who suggested the Bulls should go was given short shrift by his mates. So whilst I don't doubt for a second that they were singing about what they'd do with their father's gun during the game, when it came to it they were well able to see a bigger picture. I have to say I felt a bit uplifted by it.

| I thought Peacock looked a shadow of his former self and was knocked around all over the pitch. Obviously haven't seen him week in week out but he looked to be struggling a bit to me.

| We lacked any attacking threat when BK went off and Sammuts defence is just as bad at the back as Kearneys. Adam OBrien needs to speed is passing up from dummy half, it's far to slow and we desperatley need some attacking threat down the right hand side because it's none existent. Hargreaves and ELima played really well.
Stevie Ward was a monster for Leeds. A real talent.
