| Quote REDWHITEANDBLUE="REDWHITEANDBLUE"Did I read somewhere that the consortium would announce today that they would or wouldnt bid for the club. I know in principlenthey have by the looks of things but issues highlighted days ago do not appear to have been resolved, whats the next step?'"
they said today would be earliest possible date they could complete due diligence and formalise a bid IIRC.

| Quote Northernrelic="Northernrelic"Your a great one for reading meanings into posts that aren't there....'"
No, I'm not. First of all you accuse me of making what would be a ludicrous suggestion:
Quote Northernrelic="Northernrelic"..to suggest it is their responsibility to provide a state of the art stadium for a professional sports club is going a bit far'"
Anyone reading that reply would assume I made such a suggestion, and of course I never did.
Now, when I point out I never said any such thing, you cast another random aspersion, not only that I read into the above a meaning that isn't there (when it 100% is) but that I'm a "great one" for doing this, i.e. I do it frequently!
I don't intend to say any more about it, but would appreciate it if you didn't accuse me of inventing things.

Tasker, Potter, Guilfoyle and HOOD met @ Odsal this morning. The "plot" thickens?

Get all the actors into an ensemble piece worthy of a Hollywood film with a cast of '000s
"A magnificent sprawling tale of intrigue, incompetency and powerbroking set in a northern village in england against the background of the threat to their much loved local team, and how it was brought down by people who they trusted "
"Thrill as the story unfolds the riches to rags heartache of the disillusioned inhabitants and how each tried to cope with their own sense of being betrayed."
"The painful drama they suffer through, crisis, suspense, financial intrigue, conspiracy theory, board room in-fighting, shadowy white knights, and evil wizards are tempered by lighter moments of rollicking comedy. When the Administrator says that he was incompetent in reading all his his messages is a screen gem."
"Sub plots abound, especially historic ones, which really draws the viewer into the maze of frustration and desperation that those plucky village supporters must have felt"
The end, of course, has yet to be written...........

| Where is Caisley in all this? He has created the frenzy, but has appeared to have melted into the shadows.

| If it's on iPlayer, I'd suggest you watch the BBC red-button discussion about Bradford after the Leeds/Wigan tie. A clearer line from the RFL with a long interview with Blake Solly, and input from Noble.

The absolute basics were that Solly couldn't guarantee the Bulls would be kept in SL (as the consortium demands) and Noble didn;t see why Bradford should get anything more than a Wakefield points deduction. They also said there have been no actual bids.
There was more than that, it went on for about 15 minutes , and the general impression was antipathy from the RFL towards the administators and how they're playing it, but I only had half an eye on it so perhaps someone else who saw it can expand.
