Nobby always strikes me as a straight up and down guy that says it as it is.
Not somebody who would go behind peoples backs to get one up.
Maybe he has changed his mind after seeing the way BG has treat all the staff, and has decided not to play any more.

From what I have been told, that post about sums the whole thing up in a nutshell. BN was asked last Thursday if he would coach for free until the end of the year, he said yes but it had to be done right as he is friends with MP and didn't want to be seen as coming in through the back door , so to speak. He also said he told BG that he wanted to keep FC on board too, hence the call BN made to him to ask him to stay.
He is now reconsidering after seeing the way BG has handled the situation. |

I have read on FBook that Noble is currently working abroad.
Quoted by someone in his family. This would suggest that Noble was never in the frame? surely.

No, you were closer to the truth as I've heard it in your previous post. He offered to coach for free until the end of the season but backed out. Not got too much info as to why but something to do with the reaction to yesterdays sackings.
I'd be happy if Nobby was back as coach but would prefer to see Potter back if possible as he'd got things back on the up dispite the hand we've been dealt with injuries. |

Been on sky sports app that BG cancelled the player meeting as he had nothing to update them with and also denies he has or is having talks with CC or any former people associated with the club

No he wasn't, not unless Noble is a liar, which I for one refuse to believe. He is reported as saying the call came on Monday, after the sackings, and on the same day as he returned from a 6 week holiday to Australia and Fiji. |
