This echoes what the ditor of 40-20 magazine was saying on Radio Leeds yesterday - that in SL1 - had it not been for the Bulls showing what was possible - it would have been seen as the winter season transplanted into summer with London & Paris added. Remember Leeds didn't see the need to be called Rhino's, Wigan didn't do anything different, Warrington were in a place not dissimilar from our and looking to sell their stars to survive etc. Our club showed what was possible and possibly saved the Super League concept. I remember when the arguements were raging about going back to winter, the Bulls were held up and the model. Do we think other clubs will show their gratitude!!! Given the last 5-6 years we probably don't deserve it!

Keighley were doing things within the bounds of the possible long before anyone else.

Agree - but with respect they were never a big city club which would attract lots of attention like the Bulls did

Quick one, what makes it worse is that most expected us to get a severe pasting last Friday night given the week the palyers and staff had, but we got a performance rich in character and spirit - gave us hope for the future - now today!!!!!!!

I was one of the (very!) few who thought he did an admirable job at Saints and I felt sure he would be a good coach for you. I think what he has achieved for you this season in the circumstances is borderline miraculous and it's so sad to see him cast aside like this.

I understand the realities of Administration more than most, and how powerful a process it can be when used properly, but that doesn't stop this being a crying shame.
