Having now written four novels, all with a strong Rugby League background, I am now working on the next one in the series. It will be set during the 2002 and 2003 seasons and like the others be inspired by the old saying about being in work: "They could write a book about this place. It would be a best seller".
I don't have a title for the novel yet but some of the chapters I have written do. They include "Stuck On The M62", "Afternoon Tea at Bailiff Bridge", "He Was A Good Yorkshireman", "On The Road To Old Trafford", "What's Up with Elvis" and "She's A Jehovah's Widnes".
On Friday morning (June15th) from 11 onwards I will be in Waterstones signing copies of my fourth novel "One Autumn" and also looking out for ideas. So if you have some suggestions to make or are just looking for a suitable Fathers' Day present, why not call in to see me. It's free!!
