They have not had anything funds wise, they have not organised it this was very much Andy's baby and they can't access any funds unless it is released by Andy but it may mean that the funds have to be given back with the walk not going ahead. As someone else has said on this thread my concern was the timing, the pledge had been successful and so really I was not sure just what raising more money on that scale would accomplish other than it being a great feat of unity by RL fans but I've not been involved enough to really push that point of view. I had a couple of other concerns too which is why I didn't get as involved as I usually would, these were personal though and not related to Andy's ability to organise this or actually do it. I ain't 100% yet that I am doing it yet , but it is already arranged for the other walker ( I think she is a Bradford lass ) on the Yorkshire Kidney Research Fund website . The secretary of the YKRF was going to sort out a birthday cake for James . I promised to do something to help YKRF in return for that favour . They have asked me if I want to join in this walk .
I am checking the logistics at the mo . Got permission from the better half . Just trying to figure out if it is do-able on my own with no back-up , and when/where I would catch up . This would be a proper challenge . Need a day on google to sort things .

Somebody did mention getting me a couple of tickets to a Bulls game . Might have to accept the offer and stand with the fat-dogs . Now that would be interesting having seen the reception Mick got last time I spotted him in the SouthStand . I actually dragged a couple of lads back that were heading his way .
