Peter Hood isn't going to call the pledges in until he and his fellow directors can be 110% certain the remaining £500k/£600k can be found.

But expect him to call them in later today or at the latest tomorrow.

I've not used it, but it sounds like a quick adaptation of a system they already had in place.

went through ok for me without the error 500 message. Can confirm you will receive a email confirmation if it goes through ok. E-ticketing system has always been clunky to say the least.

I asked Ryan about this last night. Reason he said is so they can keep track of who has paid, and tie up with pledges. If monies go into bank account, its hard to get enough info to tie them all up without asking the pledge to send some additional detail separately - which defeats the object.

There IS cost with business receipts through BACS or FP though. Costs me per receipt at work. Doubtless cheaper than through their handling site though, which is why I asked the question, but sounds like the extra admin would outweigh any charges savings.

I DID try to suggest that maybe for the larger pledges it might make sense. They would have had my money for value yesterday evening.
