Looks like its going to be a long night, how long does it take to raffle 67 items? There might be a risk of "auction fatigue" setting in after 20 items.

Probably a bit late now to suggest it, but wouldnt it be possible to divert half the items into a raffle at the Leeds game?

In a general auction with an experienced auctioneer lots are knocked down at 1 per minute. Exceptional ones take up to 2 minutes.
I agree about fatigue, tho if a pro auctioneer is used the momentum can be sustained. It'a a skill.
Some "lesser" items may be held back from auction to be prizes in a grand raffle on the night.
A £100 of raffle tickets might see someone winning a decent piece of memorabilia, and if not then its a contribution to the funds. Win/win situation imo.

Auction items can be sold in 15 - 20 secs. That will mean the whole event could be done quickly! The order they are sold in may need some thought. If a few items fail to meet their reserve (and £5K is a lot for most people!) then momentum can be lost.

With time a raffle for some of the lower end items may have been preferable.
