Am I right in thinking that we won NONE of the equivalent fixtures to the seven we have had so far this season. So eight points instead of one is a handy return. Beat Quins, Widnes and Salford home and away, Cas, HKR & Wakey at home, fill in for blobs against the rest and we're 50/50 or better...
A lot of credit has to go with mick potters aquisitions this season; lulia runs his heart out and is forming a good partnership with crookes, pryce is a poacher extrodinaire and will improve with confidence, purtell is a big agressive unit who doesnt stop, manu is the new "big joe" and put that together with the up and coming youngsters like bateman, addy and whitehead we can only improve and enjoy a good season.
Whitehead and Bateman have really stepped up, we have two centres willing to hit the line running alongside them and Sammut and Jeffries have been able to get the ball out there. And when they've had to tighten it up and play short balls around the ruck they've been able to adjust to a different pattern.
Minus the Warrington game, which was a great performance anyway, in the last four games we've won three difficult games in three different ways.
COYB first time in along time ive said that, but the belief is starting to come back, leeds v bradford should be a decent game again and could possibly over shadow the 'great' wigan v saints game
