On today's evidence alone, I'd say Sammut looks like a far more promising prospect. That said I'm still glad Kyle has only gone on loan, and not a permanent deal.
Playing open-age in the Championship will be far better for Briggs than Academy level. Given its a loan, you'd hope that he'd be monitored regularly by the Bulls, and given some goals as to which parts of his game he needs to work on. Powell may not have cut it at Leeds, but I suspect he's an ideal coach for a player in Briggs' situation.
has this given us the cap space for either Joseph or Pryce - or both? In which case three instead of four half backs and 6>5 props and/or 4>3 wingers, plus the benefit Briggs gets from regular games, is a win win situation over the season
