| Briggs played about 20 mins in the 2nd half before BJ returned to the field to partner Gale once again. I'm not sure if it was tactical or due to injury but he didn't offer much in the 20 mins he was on. Gale on the other hand looked very impressive but I would expect him to be dominant against a team like Dewsbury (no disrespect meant there) with our pack making good metres.
I was impressed by his willingness to attack the line and he pulled off a lovely little darting run and offload that nearly resulted in a try in the 2nd half. I thought Donaldson looked sharp and Burgess looked a bit leaner than 2011.
Joesph went well and proved a handful for the Dewsbury defence. Whether he can do it in SL remains to be seen but if he goes well against Hull I'd be happy enough to see him brought in as our 6th Prop.
Purtell didn't have a lot of work in defence but he chased and kicked ahead a loose ball to score a nice try in the 1st half.

| Thought Gale looked the business to be honest, he was doing a lot of talking on the pitch too. Liked the look of Donaldson today and thought Bateman went well. Purtell is a beast, imagine him and Pryce on one wing!
Joseph seemed to offer pretty good value too, I would be happy to have him for competition in the props. Adam O'Brian stood out too, made one try with a lovely break.
It was a decent game with Koppy getting a yellow for a late shot. I'm liking his new "mongrel" side! Good to see some rugby again finally, even if my fingers are still thawing out.

| To sum up Gale's performance, he did more in one game than Marc Herbert did in one season. He was top drawer.

| Glad to see the side keeping the opposition pointless, at least in the 1st half when we were at our strongest.
I'm more interested in how things will turn out next weekend against Hull, however. From the sound of things Hull were quite rusty and ill-disciplined today against KR so I'm not really sure what to expect when we play them next week.

| Good run out and no serious injuries-Gale looked a good player in a poor quins team and with the better quality we`ve got he should go well. MP looks as though Jefferies/Gale are his 1st choice half-backs. I`d give Joseph a 1yr deal and we`ve got cover in 2nd row and Prop.
