I would rather loose in a competitive game than see a repeat of the last two years p*ss poor insult of a team that SL has sent along to Cougar Park.

But our defence was very loose these last three seasons

not a lot we can do about it though is there?. We have the Hull friendly the same weekend and we cant expect the 1st team to play twice. Hulls our last friendly and we need to have our strongest team out against them. No disrespect to your lot but the Hull game is going to give us a much better idea where we're at.

Last time we put out a close to full strength side in a pre-season game against Keighley was in 2007 I believe? And didn't we put something like 80 points on them? As fun as that sort of scoreline is, what good does it do anyone? It certainly doesn't help us prepare for the rigours of an SL season and it can't help Keighley to get their backsides handed to them
