personally i'm against it. I'm all for trying new things but getting disturbed in the middle of my tea whilst watching corrie didn't go down too well !!! i listened for a while, put the phone down then spent 20 mins wondering if i had just dreamt up the flaming thing. Cant remember even giving them my number at any stage but i must have unless we have just found out where the news of the world staff have relocated to.

I once bought a ticket off Wigan and got a message a couple of years ago from Sean O'Loughlin telling me to buy a season ticket - so not new. Its a bit annoying though.

I remember getting one from Bulls voiced by McBanana a couple of seasons back. I had a lengthy discussion with him about coaching tactics, and player recruitment. His silence spoke volumes.

I once bought an online ticket for a game at the Broncos (as it then was) and got quite a few mails about games and promotions for some time afterwards. Can't say I found it intrusive, to be honest I was more happy they were doing promotional things like that. I feel the same about the Bulls too, even though they are preaching to the converted when it comes to me!
