| Hope this isnt true I think both players still have a role at the club particularly Platt who shows commitment game after game.

| Whilst it seems unusual, Connors reaction seems unusual and makes me think its true. He has denied rumours before saying they are rubbish, but here he has said its between the players and potter...
either player would be a good signing for teams such as quins, widnes or wakey etc and could probably get more ££ than they can at the bulls

| Given both players are under contract for the next 2 years, I doubt the club will be looking to release them as we all know that wouldn't be of benefit due to their salary still counting on our cap and leaving us 2 players down without the money to replace them.
However, given the signings of Lulia and Purtell on long deals it may be that the club will sit down with Platt and Sykes and tell them that they're reserve players who won't be getting first team game time unless there's significant injuries and if they're wanting to play first team rugby that they are free to discuss moves with other clubs.
But, I'm still not sure that either will be leaving

| If we want to get back into the top 4 or even top 6, we need to ditch players such as Platt, Sykes, Sibbit ect. I know you cant have a team full of superstars, but its simple, no matter how much you like the guys there simply not good enough. The club needs to be more ruthless, its the only way we will get back to the top. As for Donaldson, he would be a fantastic player if he had the quality of players around him as Peacock did when he was coming through. Stick Donaldson in the Wigan or Warrington team and you would see a different player. Whitehead, Donaldson, Olbsion, Addy, Bateman dont have the players of any quality to learn from, that is why it was a massive mistake to let Steve Menzies go.
