Quote: Runcornwire "From a Wire POV, there were three players that stood out.
1. Gareth Raynor was outstanding. His chase and commitment was second to none.
2. Young Tom Burgess - very difficult to stop at the goal line. Counted four defenders at times trying to stop him, including Westwood and Anderson.
3. The lad with the drum. Hats off to him and the rest of the fans for keeping behind the team, and for holding your heads up when the team's were down (except Raynor's)
The rest of the team need to watch the game back and see how they looked. There was much talk amongst the lads prior to this game that there could be an upset at this game, given the performance last against Hudds. Was really not expecting this result.'"
Raynor was the best player for us without a doubt, he had his heart on his shirt the rest should hang their heads in shame but your a quality team and you showed that around the park yesterday. Our players just looked like they couldn`t be ARSED.
We had to be vocal today behind the sticks well someone had to ! we didn`t really have much to cheer about, apart from when ah van saved our blushes
from being 0 in this game. Roll on 2012 hopefully to be a better sesaon, can`t seriously be any worst !
