I find this sort of utterly cack news perversely affects the way I feel about Bradford. I'm happy we're in but part of me thinks its all so bloody pointless when we lose what I perceive to be a vital club.

Its like finding out you've been given a home-improvement grant at the same time as you learn an asteroid is about to destroy your city.

I've suprised myself by how gutted about Crusaders I feel.

I propose we add Halifax to superleague forthwith along with new franchises at Birch, Hartshead Moor, Ferrybridge and Burtonwood service stations.

interesting that on the link which goes to the breakdown of the A grading the only obvious ones we missed out on are attendance (over 10k one season and other two over 9k) and 12k under cover ( we already meet the covered seating criteria. A simple roof over pop side and continuing improved attendances would see us get an A grade next time round (assuming we get back into playoffs in next couple of years).

I really ought to be going OTT on the old[i schadenfreude[/i, and saying with mock sincerity that it could not have happened to a nicer chap.

I must be mellowing in my old age though, because try as I might I cannot find anything to laugh about. Senior looks to have been shafted good and proper, and a player of his stature and ability does not deserve that.

If he was to discover that the Crusadists board had a good idea of this when they signed him, I would not want to be in tbheir shoes.

The interesting thing to learn will be did Crusadists walk, or were they pushed?

Much as I like Senior I am sure he will walk into another decent contract. Possibly not as grand as his pending Crusaders deal. I am more concerned about the impact on the spread of the sport.

He is getting some right stick on there at the moment.

Im actually quite dissapointed really, although I shouldnt be because its just deserts for them getting in last time when they shouldnt have.

Im dissapointed because I cant go on the Wakey board and take the michael out of them for not staying in SL.
