i for one would be happy if ben ross came to bulls as is one big unit and will tear up super league.has prob been souths best prop this year and not afraid to do the hard work.most fans i have spoke to said we need a big nasty prop and ben is that kind of player

He's a good prop. A bit of experience is what we need.

More chance of us winning the Grand Final from 8th than Ross ever showing his face at Odsal.

The thing is, how hungry for success would a 31 year old moving to the other side of the world be?

Also, given his age, I think it'd raise some eyebrows if he was given more than 1 year and with that why would a player of his age want to come for less than 2 years?

And besides, as others have pointed out we don't really need another prop for next year given that we've got Lynch, Scruton, Hargreaves, Koppy, Burgess and Crossley.

Its a fair point. I guess a response to that might be "maybe, just maybe, as hungry as Beaver, Morro, Brad McKay, Penguin...?"

He may be experienced, being 31 but he is not a good prop. He is playing because Souths have injuries otherwise he wouldn't make the team. He is an absolute punching bag at NRL level. He needs to retire, I wouldn't wish him on my worst enemy. Bulls can do better than Ben Ross IMO
