really think tho that if these players think they are SO famous as to have people following their every move on twitter then they should face the conbsequences of people abusing them. Like godwin when he was red carded in cardiff, he took at lot of abuse...no need for them to even be on twitter, leave it to the holloywood actors and david beckham types

I thought the whole incident was a bit strange. He didn't go in with the knees in the tackle but as he rose for the PTB he just dropped back down again, it was a bit surreal. Now we know why, ouch!!

I know it's the RFL but that's even strange for them. What was the ground for the appeal given that he has pleaded guilty to the charge? Surely even the RFL could not accept someone appealing because the punishment was too harsh

Presumably the appeal was against the severity of the sentence rather than the guilty verdict.
