Agree completely. I reckon him at 6 with initially Jeffries and then Southernwood could turn us from mid table to contenders. A player to build a team around for mine and no surprise from the various RL and RU rumours that he basically has his pick of teams. Warrington will inevitably get him I guess though with the room they must still have under the cap.

To be honest, once Hood had commented on Seymour I suspected he probably wouldn't be coming. I can think of plenty who Hood has replied with the line 'we're always interested in quality players' etc but they never sign. King, Seymour, Mason, Moi Moi etc.

I'm not devastated that Seymour is off to Hull, I just hope we have a few more irons in the fire.

Hopefully Keith Lulia will turn out to be another Brett Kearney/Heath L'Estrange signing, not a big name but a quality player. It is getting a bit annoying though with Hood stating we are interested in quality players/marquee names but not pulling them off. He did manage it with Matt Orford and tried with Greg Bird, but using names like Pryce and Moi Moi to try pull the fans in and then not deliver is quite disapointing. Hopefully we see a good quality international player arriving at Odsal in 2012.
