| The problem for me is in the halfs, two unproven players thrown in at the deep end
Herbert aint up to it, and wont be here next year... whilst briggs is a good player thats not up to speed yet

| It's the players that are at fault. Potter's record speaks for itself. You can say that about many of our players too but in a negative sense!

| I'm sure Potter was the master puppeteer yesterday and dropping the boys off tackles, or that's what you'd think!
Of course we shouldn't get rid, he's proven he's a top coach elsewhere and will do so at Bradford.

how does potter's record speak for itself then?
what's he ever done?........ok we got to the grand final again last year..(only to lose again)..but that was daniel andersons team potter inherited.
we lost games last season against teams thats never beaten us for years.
nobby noble would fit in well again with you lot...don't think mick (i'm a happy chap and full of personality) potter is your answer.

Apart from taking Catalan from wooden spooners to third place?
We are in more similar of a place to the Catalan situation than the Saints situation Potter took on.

No, sarcy. I reckon the club will be in a better place when he leaves though. I aren't aiming to win SL this, or next year. I'm looking for steady improvement, with our excellent juniors flourishing, like they did at Saints.

| Unlike my fellow Saints fan, I don't actually want to put Bradford fans off Potter. Not because I like Potter - I don't, and I'm glad he is no longer at Saints - but because I'm fond of Bradford fans. I've always found them to be really friendly when I've visited Odsal, good banter, and those who survived Millward have always been good for a chat when visiting Knowsley Road.
But with Potter be prepared for bulked up, tired players and some whacky personnel choices.

No change to the last few years then?!
Nobby is a step backwards to my mind and, despite his success, I was never a fan of the style of rugby we played.
We've brought in a new coach and a load of new players and the youngsters are still getting blooded and experience which can only be good for the future.

| Bradford are bad because of the horrendous recruitment of players by Steve McNamara, it will take longer than one season in order to correct things. Potter isn't the best coach in the world, but he will bring stability which is what Bradford desperately need.
