That with the try saving tackle from Lionel Williamson on Trevor Lake in a sixties challenge cup match, a berwyn Jones try at Headingley in a challenge cup match against Wakefield and that robbie paul try at Wembley against Saints in the 96 cup final!'"
I also remember a right wing length of the field effort by Lionel Williamson, on an Odsal Saturday afternoon during the mid sixties, and a very similar one to the Jones try. What I always remember about that score was how long it too him to cover the 100 yards or so, and Williamson was a bit quick, with no one touching him on way to the line. It goes to show how much fitter players are now. That try may have come against Swinton, but I may be wrong.
