Well I have had a day to dwell over yesterday's match and I have to admit that it was a disappointing performance. Poor completion rates and silly penalties, which have been constantly cropping up in our games for the past couple of weeks, ultimately led to the result, but credit has to be given to Huddersfield for making us pay for these mistakes - I feel that they are a side who will be in the top 3 come the end of the year. On the positive side I have to echo other's praise about O'Brien, while he did not do anything special he got stuck in, and the effort from him was evident - that is all you can ask from a debutant!

Yes yesterday was bitterly disappointing, but all teams are going to be the recipient of a drubbing at some point in the season. It is now how we respond as a club after this disappointment that is going to define our season. There is still a long way to go this year and if we use these sorts of experiences positively then I see no reason why this team cannot progress and compete for a top 8 spot.

Well done to Huddersfield again for the solid performance, hope when we next meet you will see a side who has progressed and is capable of giving you a competitive game.

Let's all get behind the team on Sunday, and if both players and fans go into that game positively I believe we can end up seeing a Bulls team that threatens Castleford's 100% record. COYB!

Agree with much of the sensible posts on the game.

1. Too many mistakes
2. Too many penalties
3. Not really on the money across the park

To have any chance points 1 and 2 had to be very low.
Huddersfield really didn't need THAT MUCH help getting the ball over our line did they!?

The mistake, pen conceded combinations are also killing us. Too many times we make an error in their quarter, then end up giving a pen away and are suddenly defending our line.

One to draw a line under I feel.
Let's hope the guys take plenty of lessons from the game today.
