That's my take on it too, which begs the question, would we be better served by using our 'spare' cap money on playing such as Addy and O'Brien a bit more (assuming the coaching staff are happy that the extra rugby isn't going to be detrimental to their development) rather than bringing in another 'star' signing at a later date? |

probably a case of keeping our options open at this stage. as long as we have enough players able to play then it makes more sense to spread the workload and experience amongst the younger players who dont count on cap and keep as much cap space available for a signing as possible. |

Don't know really I thought Lynch and Scruton would have been in with a shout but instead of who I don't know.
The point I was trying to make on that was that the bloke coaching the England team didn't produce any players good enough for his Elite training squad but that's for another thread. |
