Always is, mate. Westbound you get over reasonably quickly; Eastbound is the killer.

Although if you want REAL jet lag, try doing MAN-LHR-Christchurch, or Melbourne, in cattle class with only a two hour transit in Singapore.

True mate, I did Heathrow / Seoul to Auckland and that was a killer!

Try....Leeds/Bradford to Schipoll...to Hong Kong...to Harbin..to Beijing...to Changchun (38 hours)..walk outside the airport (at the end of September) in to minus 33 degree's..and then be told 2 days later..you have frostbite in both big toes..life's Good!!! on another note..just found out we can get radio Leeds here clear..listened to the match on Sunday and really enjoyed it..

Not surprising really. It must have been terribly stressful having to rub shoulders with all the landed gentry avoiding the traffic on the Ilkley train, and you never know what strange people you might meet on the train to Bingley.
