I would guess not. I wouldn't think they'd have him make his debut against the team that will know his weaknesses better than any. Possible though if Raynor is dropped due to a couple of mistakes he made in last game (but personally I'd stick with Raynor this week).

Or will Potter take the view that he has something to prove against his former club and thus might be a good option? I personally hope he gets a game. |

Well, I asked the question at the forum as to how MP will be selecting his team for the week. The answer was that only on field performances will affect a player's selection.

Which is the correct way to look at squad selection IMO.
Reading Stanley Gene's "Daydream Believer" I got the feeling that McNamara was far too pally pally with the squad and thus when things got tough he didn't command the authority.
That's the vibe I got. |
