Sutton would be a class signing, he is always near the top for try assists each season in the NRL. I don't think he will be one of the players Souths will offload, they are getting shot of Champion and Tyrell I think. So this move will be unlikely I reckon, would be a great signing if it could happen though.

There's nothing much more than speculation as regards Sutton. A conclusion to the Orford saga needs to be reached first. As for Hall's departure I'd suggest that's wishful thinking at this stage.

I think maybe knowing the circumstances of how and why the money is outstanding is key to deciding who is the villain. I'd suggest people don't jump to conclusions, given that the Sack of Rat Droppings that is his manager seems able to drop out selective titbits as and when it suits, whereas the club has had top play a straight at throughout.

Until all deals are done regarding outgoing players you won't see anything formal from the club. There's a convention that you don't steal the thunder from the club that's about to make the signing.

tbh while its convention to not mention the club a players going to until the new club announces it, it is pretty common to announce a players departure before they are announced by another club. Didnt we announce nero leaving the day before salford announced his signing?.
