How can voting be opened yet? The closing date for submissions is 30th November. So if more are added up to then, they are at a disadvantage. This is a fix. Is George Bush running this show or what?
I think the poll be closed and opened again on the 31st, with all the entrants in place.

I have to admit, I couldn't find the logic in having 3 added options to those who may submit their work before the closing date. |

If you were prevented from re casting your vote, should someone provide a different image that you'd prefer, I'd agree.
However, Mission [ithoughtfully [/iset the poll up so that you could do just that - change your mind as many times as you want, whilst voting is open.
The only real percieved disadvantage any "late" contenders could possibly have is that their effort won't have been "visible" on RAB for as long as the first one's up . . . . which, spookily, would have been exactly the case as on the original thread 
Poll stays - "best and finals" by Midnight 301110, anyone submitting images after that . . . . . it's just plain tough

So say a killer banner goes up at 10.30 on 30th November, who is going to come on and revote? Who is even going to come back in and have a look at the new one? How will they know there is a new one? It's like casting a vote in an election before all the candidates have announced they are standing.
Why not have the banners up but don't open the voting until the 31st?
