For the sake of younger fans, Mario was an Aussie international hooker who we signed but it turned out
that he only came over in order to wipe out a suspension. Having played a couple of games,off he went.

86 game, aswell as serving his suspension i also seem to recall he was mighty hacked off at missing the tour so he had 2 good reasons to sign for us

TBF weren't they whacking everyone on that tour? I went along to that with my Bulls-supporting mate and just remember some bint with an umbrella behind me which channelled all the rain down my back. Mind it was that bad anyway it didn't make a difference.

They beat Leeds 40-0 IIRC. Nobody beat the Aussies on that tour.
