I'd heard that one too. As a backup half fine, not so sure he's up to it as a first choice one though. Although I tend to think that an average half playing in his natural position is going to be better than playing kearney or l'estrange out of position.

he might be better than some of them,but thing to remember with gardner is hes been playing alongside excellent in lyon and gidley. They could make even a poor winger look good. test of gardner will be how he goes alongside a more average . Really cant see us being interested. think he might end up at crusaders as replacement for youngquest.

So Diskin, i would imagine, is our new starting Hooker. Now, by the end of the week the Orford saga could be over and a signing in the halves could be done!
