Thomas Leuluai is a quality player, would love him here if Orford does'nt comeback, cant see Wigan letting him go, even with Finch, Deacon and Tomkins. Not sure about Luke Robinson, i dont really rate him.

Wonder if we are in negotiations with him to possibly have 1 season in England, or possibly Trent Barrett, Brett Kimmorley on the same basis

IF Orford does want to go home we all seem to be saying we need an adequate replacement and there arent many about other than these three

Although a few months ago I was against the signing of someone in the mould of Noddy, perhaps we will have to go down that route given the lack of options. I expect all of the above candidates would do a very good job at the Bulls despite being past their best. If Cain is being groomed to lead the team someday, I'd rather he was learning his trade from someone who has been there and been one of the best. Only thing that troubles me, is that we may end up with another homesick halfback. I hope whoever we bring in is 100% committed and has fully considered what they're signing up for!

money talks as they say. Although personally I'd prefer us to bring a young unknown half over who we can build around if we go down that route.

We have been in talks with one of the above, wether it leads to him signing is another matter..But i'll keep my ear to the ground.

well the only ones on that list id say were realistic targets are robinson and leuluai. one off posters with best track records re signings said we werent talking to robbo last week which leaves tommy. interesting if true.

Brough, Burrow and Eastmond are all unrealistic targets, but hey, we might be setting our sights high!

eastmond is seen as long term succesor to long at sts so cant see them letting him go (pryce would be more likely tbh). Burrow signed a 5 yr deal with leeds last year Iirc and they dont have an obvious successor coming through ranks at moment. Huddersfield too so long getting brough cant see them letting them go after a few months (unless theres off field issues we dont know about). So cant see it being any of those either. the most likely out of the 5 would be robinson but if so they've managed to keep it very quiet.
