IMO we are going to struggle to hit the 10k marker ! However can any one shed any light on 1, club holding numbers back (optomistic!) 2, family pledges counting as one ? 3, a new half back !!!!!!

family pledges count as 2 pledges. 1 for each adult.

I would have thought that previous members such as myself would have pledged almost instantly. I was one of the early pledgers that received no reply so I think it will be prudent on my part to make sure the club actually received my pledges.
I cant help but to feel disappointed so far as I cant see us making the 10,000 that we require. That said with the child ticket holders and the number already committed crowds will hopefully be on the up again next year.

Does anyone know how many total pledges we have including kids and OAP's?

We've pledged 3 Adults @ £60, 2 Kids @ £45, 1 Kid @ £0 - AFAIK thats only 3 pledges to the total but 6 clicks of the turnstile!

If this were repeated by a number of families we could have well over 10k 'members' and an increase in attendances albeit we miss the total pledges required.

Just to veer slightly OT, how would the pledgers feel about an increase of £10 per membership (Adults and Kids) at this stage to maybe pay for a marquee signing £100k transfer fee?? I for one would be happy to contribute to such an idea if I knew the increase were to be ring fenced for such a signing...

Great idea and one which I would support if it helped get the Big Marquee signing here quicker.

It's a good idea in principle, and one I certainly would consider getting in on. However, there are too many uncalculated risks for the club to offer something like that.

Imagine if only half took it up, we'd be in a worse position than where we are now more than likely.. and its too late on in the pledge drive!
