Royston is a very good signing, 103 tries in 102 games for Halifax is phenominal even at Championship level. I've only seen Halifax a couple of time on Sky this year, but he scored a cracking try running on the angle. Looking forward to seeing him play for us, but also to see if he can step up to Super League.

And if by taking a punt on a very good championship player we can afford to acquire a bigger name and still balance the books, its good all around and probably the route a club like us (i.e. with no sugar daddy) should be going down.

I'm not an avid fan of the NL coverage (more often than not I forget it's on) but he is a player I have heard of. I've seen a few Halifax games this year and I do vaguely remember him and I've got Thurs nights game recorded after a tip off about him being our next signing.

His try scoring record is superb and he's been consistently a very good player for Halifax. I am glad we have given him a shot in SL and I don't think we can lose with this signing.

Now a couple of weeks left to confirm who will be 6 and 7 for us next year.. this is the news all fans are waiting for.
