Iam a bit dissapointed weve only give him a 1 year deal, if he scores loads of tries he could be tempted away by the likes of Leeds, Warrington or Saints.

I expect he'll be on a fairly modest salary in order to prove himself. I think the deal works for both parties personally. If Potter can turn his career back in the right direction, I think he'd be foolish to look to move elsewhere. If he struggles next year, then we haven't lost much. Ainscough also has the incentive, play well and he'll get an improved deal at the club.

No, if we did indeed go for Pealeasina, Salford offered him a large chunk of money that potter thought he didn't merit. Completely different to how you're making it out to be.
You don't pay a player more than you think it's worth. If you do, your business is on a slippery slope. |

Especially as there's only a finite amount that the club is able to spend. Paying over the odds for one player means you'll end up short in other areas. |
