Pledge is great just done mine today ! Never had season ticket before been a fan all my life , club rang me back and said they were 2600 nish , not bad after 3 2 days .

I think we should aim for 4,000 by the weekend.

But as someone has posted, there will be a massive backlog of pledges from texts and postal pledges.

So don't worry yet about there being only 2700 pledges.

After some consideration it’s a no.

Odsal is much easier to get to on the bus than Headingley is as the 508 stops off at the end of my street. To get to Headingley I have to walk to the end of my street and then walk the stretch of Stanningly road to reach the 91 bus stop, unless I decided to be lazy and get the 72 to drop me off at the 91 bus stop. That would mean forking out a day rider though.

However some of you may of noticed I fell out of love with the game sometime last year thanks to a bad experience that had nothing to do with the game when I look back on things. However I’m once again enjoying my rugby league and I’m going to stick with the Rhinos.

Hopefully I’ll be at Odsal once again next season as a Rhinos fan in a crowd like the old days or even better. I think if this pledge goes well the people who took up the pledge should campaign for many free tickets to be given out for the big derby so we can finally beat Hull FC’s or Wigan’s record attendances.

A bit OT, but a number of people at the Forum noted that Hood referred to Mick potter as "Michael Potter", and wondered if there was any significance in that?

I suspect that might be a yes - "Michael Potter and the Bradford Bulls" comes across as rather nearer what it is (allegedly...

) modelled on than does "Mick Potter...". Clever campaign too.

As I went into the match on Sunday, the billboard advertising the game had the left panel missing. Underneath showed what I now know is the pledge poster with michael potter. At the time I was trying to work out why they were putting up film posters as it is not out till November. Even the lightning bolts on the names is quite reminiscent

they'll be counting pledges/taking calls during day. sensible time to update counter is at end of working day so I'd expect it to go up sometime late afternoon.
