apparently what makes it even better .. ANYONE THAT HAS A SEASON TICKET THIS YEAR AND HAS BEEN TO ALL GAMES. will have 25 pound to use from the various deals that should be able to be carried forward to this years season ticket .. therefore £99 stand ticket costs £74 !! bargain!

1. About, oh, 4k of fans of Leeds and other local SL clubs form the "Rent-a-crowd" consortium.

2. They cut a deal with clubs with poor away support, like Cats, Quins, Crusaders, Huddersfield...

3. Deal is that in exchange for providing a ready-made away support crowd at Odsal, the respective clubs give them cheap or free admission (and free beer) when those fans in turn travel away to those other clubs.

Win-Win! Bulls make £1/4m gross and get better atmospheres and loads more beer sales etc, "Rent-a-crowd" get cracking cheap deals to see loads more matches, other clubs get huge away support...win/win/win! Simples!

i asked mr duffy about the counter on the site and this is what i got back:

We will be putting a counter on the website, which we will update daily. We
will also have a twice weekly pledgeometer in the T & A and also one at
Odsal and one at Tong School in prominent positions

I have emailed Andrew Bennett about distributing leaflets around where I live. He has got back to me already so I'm on for doing it this week.

My only concern is that I don't want to be doing the same streets/area as anyone else. Is there any way of coordinating this? Are Bullbuilder on with organising this?

Because this is best done as quickly as possible, and the club know what mailshots they have sent out, we agreed with the club yesterday that we would ask supporters to contact the club directly. I assume the Bulls will co-ordinate to make sure the same areas aren't hit too often. They had 100,000 leaflets printed, so it probably doesn't matter if 2 end up at the same address!

As Chris said...not as such...suggest folk tell AB what areas/streets they are doing and confirm back when done?

As an exile in LS7 not sure I can help on this one, although I could drop some in Harrogate at lunch times

I'm on to all my Rhino 'mates' tho as some of them must see an opp to watch RL on the cheap. If we get the numbers back, I'm sure we'll get more on top who won't be able to pledge. Then if they sort the beer & food out there is lots of potential to increase the revenue generated.

I've got a bit of a dilema. I usually buy 3 adults and one junior ticket, but because the junior does not count to the 10,000 I am willing to buy four at the adult price. I am not sure wheter to do this because if I pay adult cost for the junior I think she might lose her free admitence to away games. I wonder if the club have thought about this, and if there is a way to pay adult price for a junior seat and still get the away vouchers.
