I stand on the pop side towards the away end and I only heard the Bradford fans make any noise on precisely the same kind of occasions that Saints fans made a noise - when either they thought something was on or their team had scored. What I admired about the Bulls turnout was that it was there at all. With such a poor display from their team and the possibility of a 12th defeat, I thought the Bulls fans were great just for making the wet and miserable trip over the Pennines to give the team their support.
The turnout was fairly normal for Saints at Knowsley Road. I'm quite sure you'll see more fans at the new stadium because many have been put off by the conditions.
As for the atmosphere ... these days it seems the only time we have atmosphere at KR is when Wigan, Wire or Leeds turn up. What you experienced last night is what it is like for every other match, whether Saints win or lose. No-one seems to be able to explain it but it just keeps on being like that. Our away support is much livelier.
