There's very little chance he will be 'sacked', there might be some arrangement for the new guy to take the lead once it's clear who that is, but that's equally doubtful if they're already contracted, which it's fairly certain they will be. I think the club's success in playing their cards close to their chest means that some people's imagination has gone in to overdrive.
