| Quote Ewwenorfolk="Ewwenorfolk"At present, the stand out props in SL are Scruton, Lynch & Graham. If it stays that way, then I can see (for the 4n not the friendly mid season) England lining up like this in the pack.
Graham
? - No stand out yet
Lynch
Peacock
J Tomkins
O'Loughlin
Morley & Scruton on bench as props.
If they continue, there's no way either of Scrutes or Lynch can be overlooked for England.'"

| I've admired Lynch since his days at Cas but he doesn't strike me as the type of player to terrorise the Aussies or Kiwis, in attack or defence. He is the epitome of a grafter. Scruton I think could be of that standard however. =#FFFFFF<Lights the blue touch paper & stands back>

Sorry to even think about this on THIS forum, let alone elect to actually type the words in, but I think you may find the words "Ryan" and "Bailey" may well feature in England's plans at some point soon.

Ahead of any of Graham, Lynch, Peacock, Morley, Scruton, Carvell, Burgess, Crabtree?

Nowhere near as bad as some suggest but, hopefully, not a hope in hell.

Why? Have Ryan Tandy and Phil Bailey decided to convert to being English?

Probably. However, many may remember Bailey hitting Maurie F in similar fashion.

In my defence, Graham and Fa'asavalu look a lot alike

| Quote Ewwenorfolk="Ewwenorfolk"And rightly so.
As Adey says Scruton and Lynch are the most effective pair of props in SL at this moment in time, it would be a massive blow to lose one of them for a couple of games.
Put in another one on saturday Scrutes.
I was thinking about Scruton since we signed him on the way home. He's steadily improved and now is gaining well deserved recognition. An England call-up for the 4n is well within his reach if he carries on. More credit for McNamara imo, McLemon and the Whinos coaching team didn't think he was worth a bit more money & a long term deal, McNamara's better judgment has payed off. We now have one hell of a player and one of the best english props around.'"
It was a big mistake at Headingley to let him leave, but don't be surprised iwhen he returns home ....
