Gareth Thomas had on okay game but i thought he were in touch but those fans who had a go at him are pathetic.

Don't see the fuss about Thomas. Thought he was pretty poor TBH. It must be hard though for him considering all the expectation and he's had no real time to get up to speed. Looks to slow to me to be an outside back in *the wriggling code* as Stuart Jones puts it.

He was not in touch though. I stand right in front of that part of the pitch and it was pretty clear to me. Still they got every other decision so sod 'em!

I stand pretty much where Thomas was lifted in touch and his hand touched the line, the point of contention for me wasn't whether he was in touch it's that he was lifted and pulled over, I may be wrong but isn't that now not allowed?

I thought I saw a hand get pretty close to the line, I think that must be what the touchie flagged for! God knows what the ruling is now, I'm not even sure the referee's know for sure. Seems you can lift a little and drive if it's one on one as long as you don't drag!

Thomas dropped on the ball and waited for the tackle. As I understand the rules if you put downward pressure on him in any way then he's tackled, but if it's your first motion then you can lift him up and then tackle him as normal. So nothing wrong with it in this situation.

He didn't look in touch to me but I was a good 60 yards away! Having said that the decision evened things up as we got some very tough decisions leading up to it.
