Quote: AaronBull "Hull were there for the taking tonight. We've played 6 games with Orford in the side and have rarely looked anymore creative than we did tonight, so that doesn't wash with me.
We just haven't got the spark, the execution that was promised. Defensively, we actually look decent. We just look too devoid of options to beat someone at the moment.'"
Completely agree.
If we look at the number of halves of rugby in which Bradford have failed to score more than 1 try...
Vs Huddersfield (2nd half = 1 try)
Vs Saints (1st half = 0 try)
Vs Saints (2nd half = 1 try)
Vs Salford (1st half = 1 try)
Vs Salford (2nd half = 0 try)
Vs Wigan (1st half = 0 try)
Vs Warrington (2nd half = 0 try)
Vs Hull (1st half = 0 try)
Vs Hull (2nd half = 1 try)
...9 from 14! It shows just how easily our impotent attack is being bottled up.
People often say that in modern rugby league 6/12/18/24 points is not alot and can be scored pretty quickly. However, even with "ok" defence the complete lack of cutting edge means that a 6 or 12 point deficit is usually going to be decisive, no matter how many minutes are remaining.
