You guys crack me up...so full of $h!7. Basically you have just named Leeds' low profile forwards. You've asked me a question of "would you take our best forward (seen as you rate him MOS) for one of your lesser forwards?"
The question you should of asked is "So you wouldn't take him over Peacock, Kylie, Ali, Eastwood, Sinfield".
My comment was Leeds, Wire, Saints,Wigan would LOVE Langley in their line-up. e.g star player status.
Ablett, Burgess and Bailey definately not. I rate Ablett and Burgess above him already and their only young and will without a doubt improve over the next couple of years and maybe be future England stars.
At this present time im not a huge fan of Kirke so maybe...but i doubt Leeds will go hell bent on getting Langleys signature just because he may be better than Kirke.

Look at Langley's stats over Burgess, Ablett, Kirke, Bailey and even JJB. He trounces them all.

| Quote Ewwenorfolk="Ewwenorfolk"You think Ablett is a better player than Langley?
I think Menzies, Hall, Lynch and possibly Scruton will be on more than Langley, although Langley's next contract will be his biggie.
People are only saying MoS candidate because of the way he's started, certainly not on 2009 form.
I'd compare Langley to JJB in Leeds' second-row, rather than Ablett, Kirke etc, and most of Langleys stats show he has more to offer than JJB - More meters per carry, more tackles, less missed tackles and less errors & penalties.'"
my stats say langley was on a beach whilst jjb was having massive games in play offs and gf's. proving time after time he's a champion cog in a champion team. same can be said about bailey, ablett, kirke and burgess who have 15 gf rings between them. but langley is a champion at having a sun tan by gf night

Langley was in the '05 GF team that beat Leeds, so yes, he can play in big finals, even if they are few and far in between.

I agree that they don't tell the whole story, but players with stats like Langleys : Not too many errors, lots of metres, lots of carries, tremendous tackling etc, usually show a player who is for the team and a hard worker, the type of player that every team wants/needs.

is that the season you cheated and broke the cap brining in a player for the play offs, obviously a player you couldnt afford within cap/rules?

i put it to you that by cheating the cap you had blokes on the field who shouldnt have been there. especially moz. my point is that bradford cheated their way to a title, which the rfl acknowledged. its hardley a credable victory is it, or something that should be used in an argument about champion players! people dont say hey there goes ben johnson, hansie cronja, those guys were champions do they? langley was a part of a team/club/organisation that cheated their way to a title.
