We were really impressive last night and the halves were clicking and Langley played out of his skin and for me deserved MoM but let's not get carried away and see if we can go on a winning run but good luck to Owen, he is a good young talent.

The thing that concerns me is we seem to be defending really quite well for five out of six tackles and terribly for one (not necessarily the sixth).

This suggests to me that it is a mental or concentration thing. I don't know if that is easier to fix than poor technique or not.

I am reserving judgement til we have performed against a top 5 side. One win does not make a resurgence.

Good win last night. Only catched 2nd half due to delayed train.

Seemed a lot better in attack. A good response. Lets hope we can do what we hardly did ever last season and kick on from it.

Luckily next week is only a short bus ride away for me.

I worry that some people show signs of having forsaken all hope.

I'm not sure where i stand on this. I obviously want the team to do well and for Macca to make me eat a big humble pie. We have individuals who are good enough for the top. Just my mind was made up long ago that i don't think Macca is up for the job and i understand he is here till end of season not matter how we do.

There's a long way to go this season, just hope we can get in amongst the top half of league early, cause we usually do better in 2nd half of season.

Did any one else notice Orford been pretty animated in the half time team talk when sky when,t to the Bulls changing room as well as Macnamara.

Please Macca take notice of guys like Orford,Menzie,s and the like THEY HAVE BEEN THERE AND DONE IT so can only help rather than hinder.

The result was good but the performance was even better granted room for improvement in defence with more of the same in both and we,ll be there or there abouts.

P.S Macca,s not the man to take us back to the summit but i,ll support the team.

I saw one post on the T&A 'idiot comments section' and one poster reckoned Macca must have read the advice on there and that's why we beat Cas!

I stopped posting on there a while ago - had enough of the armchair experts, a number of whom never go to the matches, attacking the club, the chairman, the coach, the office cat, whatever - often with little appreciation of the underlying causative issues.

IF he give,s Orford the freedom to play his natural game with a little input from from himself then surely that can only be a good thing for the team.
