| I have tried to keep faith with McNamara given we have no money as a club and a (albeit small) genuine belief that he can turn things around.
However a total and utter lack of passion, pride and commitment is not acceptable (whatever the skill levels of players are).
The players need to shoulder their fairshare of the blame for todays performance but it is ultimately the head coach and his coaching team that need to be responsible and accountable for the performances on the pitch ... so with a heavy heart and recognition that we need change things I have to finally admit it is time to for McNamara to leave the club.
Whilst we are in relatively dire financial straits we need to recognise that fans (our income stream & lifeblood) will not return to watch these sort of performances ... any optimism created from pre-season has, in one match, been swept away. If we persevere we are likely to slowly drift and die as a club back to the core 4000 fans or so. Sometimes tough decisions for the long term good need to be made.
Let the search begin...

| We were awfull, the most worrying thing today is that saints are not a patch of the team they once were, but when you invite the opposition to score points that makes it easy for them. It's obvious some of our players are not good enough at this level, and if they are then they are simply not trying which is more worrying. DIRE!

Like nearly all the team today, he had a shocker. Probably guilty of trying too hard to make something happen. Took his try well but it offered no consolation.

............after an earth-shatteringly vast total of 21 posts you '[ifinally have to admit[/i'??? Ever think you might have stayed silent too long?
Seriously, how did the 'the people's team' run out of money after all those years of 13k plus crowds, terrific sponsorship deals and SL wins?

| Found today terribly concerning, didn't look like scoring a try even on the back of repeat sets and defence just leaking points. On the plus side I thought they played much better last week, so we know those players are capable of better than that.

| One word : Dire.
We can't defend, we can't get over the tryline and we don't seem to have any sort of tactics.

| We started very brightly (again) but (again) could not get over for the points. Then, as soon as Stains got their hands on the ball and made the break they were in. And that was not the last time today they scored after a prolonged but ultimately fruitless period of pressure from us.
I thought Stains, and especially Pryce, were a lot better today than some are suggesting. Some of the skills we saw were I suggest, in a different league.
But, regardless of all that - IMO we looked bloody clueless. It became awful to watch. I don't think there was any lack of effort, except maybe when nearer the end some players clearly gave up. Its just that we made crazy errors (again), looked like as a team we were far from having gelled (again, although maybe there is still time...), got crucified round the ruck (again), seemed completely unable to break their defence (again) but conceded easy yards and seemed unacceptably poor in OUR defence (again).
That's how it looked to me, anyway. Bitterly bitterly disappointed, and not a little shocked.
The chairman said in the programme today "...(the team) know they'll need to be on form, error-free, more clinical and tighter in defence to be sure of getting the points."
Peter, the trouble is, its clear they neither knew no such thing or were incapable of delivering on those entirely reasonable requirements. So I suggest you need to sort it?

| Another game, another shocking performance! It truly is dire! And to be honest, we didn't deserve to sore any points today!
To have numerous sets within the saints 20 and not ome away with anything clearly shows where the main issue is, who he hell has that little bit of magic to break down a defense, and do something different..........or do we expect Langley to bulldoze his way over the line every set??????

Go ask Caisley and Caddick, and mention a Mr Harris as your supplementary. They know one of the major reasons. And the ongoing consequences.
And go ask Caisley how much money we were making in the years when he was in office. Although I'm not sure you'd necessarily hear the words "unsustainable losses year-on-year" passing his lips, but you never know.
And go ask the game as a whole whether, after Bulls' early lead in matters commercial, marketing and financial, many other clubs have now not just caught up but have had the financial resources to move well past what Bradford are now able to deliver. For example, have a chat with Mr Davy (to name but one) and ask where his club would have been without his money?
Sad, but simples
