I'd hold on to that five games last season because personally I really do think having changed players in crucial positions is the key to your slow start. What continues to concern me about Saints is that our run at the end of last season was 5 losses from 8 matches and we did this big score thing in the middle of our poor performances last year too, against Quins. We didn't score more than 15 in any match subsequent to that until Sunday. For you, though, I think it's the start of a new season with a lot of new key players. It's a shame, really, that you had to change so many all at once because had the team stayed as it was then you might have been seeing wins now rather than losses.
Btw, was it Wigan that lost their first five on the bounce last season but ended up in the playoffs?
