| I'll be sad to see Deacs go as he's sort of become part of the furniture. But time moves on and the management do seem to be delivering on their promise to move the club forward. I for one can't wait for next season.

| Deacs has been a great servant to the club but as George Harrison once said all things must pass (although I always rated his passing).
The Paul Deacon ladies night by all accounts was a memorable occasion but I feel in making such a sudden announcement the club are missing out on an opportunity for a men's night for us to say goodbye. Perhaps a Paul Deacon lady-boys night would be a suitable compromise for the club - perhaps run jointly with Wigan and featuring former Bulls ace Stuart Fielden?

| Top player, who I thought was very underated. A few years back when he was playing for GB (the games leading up to his face injury), I really thought he was becoming a class act, he began to take the line on more and was causing a few problems.
Wasn't really the same in recent years...but still knows how to steer a team around the park and as tough as nails. Goes with my best wishes.

| As a Wigan fan of many years I'm glad to welcome Paul back to Wigan. He has been a tremendous servant not only to Bradford but to Rugby League, the consummate professional and the proverbial thorn in our (Wigans) side.
He is a player you only hear good things about, in his playing, training and off field activities. There will be no Sean long, Bobby Goulding type episodes in his book if he ever writes one.
The two young Wigan halfbacks Tomkins and Mellor should be delighted to be coached by him. Follow his ways and they will be all the better for it.
To end, Deacon should be held in the same esteem as Kris Radlinski. and there can be no better accolade than that.

| He's been good for Bradford, but Bradford have been good to him. He's benefited from having great players around him, but is undoubtedly talented. He was given too much responsibilty on a dieing team. He hasn't been the same since his facial injury v NZ at Huddersfield.
My favourite player growing up as a Bradford supporter, I really respect him as he's played in a key position in each of our GF victories, in the modern era not many players have shown such loyalty whereby they have played 10 years at one club.
Thanks for everything Deacs!
