Back to Jefferies, he is a class act when he's on form like at saints and against wakey at magic weekend but when he's bad he is awful and he is not consistent enough and think we should let him go to Celtic he'd be the main playmaker there and then we need to sign a good quality 6 not sykes who doesn't have a creative bone in his body, he's s**t and a new 7 deacs is past it sadly for me the perfect half-backs would be chase and brough but I don't think they'll ever want to come here and waste there careers away.

I think that a major problem for your club is that the BOD have allowed your decline to continue to the point that you are no longer viewed as a big club - a poor coach and lack of finance along with not making the 8 will remarkably leave players like Brough thinking that a move from Wakefield to Bradford is a backward step.

It is only this year that we have seen a plummet, and certainly relative to Wakefield. I think it is far too premature for anyone from Wakefield to attest with any confidence that any such move would be a "backward step". Let's see what next season brings, eh?

Fair comment. The thing is from an outsiders view where is the light at the end of the tunnell re next year? We have taken one of your better players in Morrison - Newton although not rated by many of your fans will shine under a coach that deserves his respect. You will still have banana man making comments like "there were some good signs" or "we controlled the game for 60 minutes". Looks like Burgess is on his way - your crowds are down. I honestly cant see any signs that next year will be any better than this - but like you say time will tell - i would be interested to know your thoughts on if/how the slump will be arressted.

I'd be interested to know your thoughts on those players you mentioned come the end of next year.

Morrison, although good, spends not nearly enough time on the park
Newton, only time will tell if new surroundings will spur him on but at the moment he's on a steep downward spiral.

Once the squad (inc backroom) is finalised for 2010, we'll be in a better position to comment about next year. The rumoured signings certainly look the right ones to me.

Plus the fact the club have said there'll be some exciting players announced soon.....(granted that could mean anything)
