whats the problem with horton? seen it mentioned that you brought subject up at fans forum but never seen any report of what was actually said.

It was all but said directly that he wasn't good enough especially as a defender.

Yeah Medley said that although Horton looks great running from dummy half his defence needs to improve.

IMO any hooker replacement for Newton needs to be a proven player. Most clubs seem to use two hookers so we need at least one top notch one. Godwin is ok but never going to be top class.

It will be interesting to see who we bring in to replace him. I don't think we have consistently seen his best and I'm not overly concerned about him leaving but we need to recruit a good quality replacement. It is such an important role.

So far we have been linked with Drew, L'Estrange, Diskin and Wing. If BJ moves on then we could be looking at a massive shake up of our main playmakers. I'd personally be pretty happy with Wing and Diskin.

Drew always gone good for Hudds and Wakey, right? And he'd give us some pace at the ruck.

We should be looking for someone who can play for us for more than a season. I think there are better hookers on the market or who could be available. I'd be disappointed if we brought Drew in if I'm honest.
